আগামিতেà¦" আরো অনেকের সাথে যোগাযোগ তৈরি হবে। আমার এ সফর আপনাদের মতো গৌরবদীপ্ত সন্তানদের অচেনা জগতকে আরো বেশি

আমার বেড়ে à¦"ঠা যে শহর, বাংলাদেশের একটি দক্ষিণাঞ্চলের একটি আদি শহর। এ শহরকে আমি আমার প্রাণ-প্রাচুর্য্যের শহর বলি। সে শহরের
নাম নোয়াখালী। এর আদি নাম ভুলুয়া। ত্রিপুরা রাজ্যের একটি অধুনালুপ্ত পরগনা ভুলুয়া।
এ শহরের প্রমত্ত মেঘনা নদীর পাড়ে বসে একজন কবি তার জীবনকে দৃষ্টান্ত করেছেন বাংলাদেশ তথা, ভারতবর্ষের বাংলাসাহিত্যকে। তিনি
কবি, বুদ্ধদেব বসু। সমপ্রতি তাঁর জন্মশত বর্ষ পেরিয়ে গেলো। শ্রদ্ধা জানাই এ কবিকে। ভারতবর্ষের বাম আন্দোলনের প্রবক্তা কমরেড
মুজাফফর আহমেদের জন্মস্থান এ নোয়াখালী।
১৯৪৬ সালে পশ্চিমবঙ্গে সামপ্রদায়িক দাঙ্গার রেশ পড়ে নোয়াখালী জেলায়। হিন্দু সমপ্রদায়ের à¦"পর অমানবিক নির্যাতন চলে। মহাত্মাগান্ধী এই
নোয়াখালীতে দীর্ঘদিন অবস্থান করেন। তাঁর ঐতিহাসিক অহিংসনীতি প্রচার করেন। শান্তি স্থাপনে সর্মথ হোন। মহাত্মাগান্ধী এই স্মৃতিধন্য
নোয়াখালীতে আজ ভারত-বাংলাদেশ সরকারের যৌথ পরিচালনায় মহীরুহ হিসেবে গড়ে à¦"ঠেছে গান্ধী আশ্রম ট্রাষ্ট। তারই পরিচালনায় স্থাাপিত
হয়েছে গান্ধী স্মৃতি জাদুঘর। আপনাদেরকে স্বাগত জানাই আমার জন্মভূমি নোয়াখালীতে।
